NEW ZEALAND’S TELSTRACLEAR LTD. SELECTS EDX WIRELESS LLC’S NETWORK DESIGN TOOL TO DEPLOY AN ADVANCED FIXED WIRELESS NETWORK

The EDX SignalPro® suite of wireless network design and planning tools provide TelstraClear with unmatched features from initial network design and deployment through network maturity.

EUGENE, Ore., April 28, 2004 — EDX Wireless LLC, the leading provider of comprehensive wireless network planning tools, and TelstraClear Ltd., New Zealand's second-largest full service communications solutions provider, announced that EDX SignalPro® was selected to design, deploy, and maintain TelstraClear’s new 3.5GHz-based wireless network currently being built throughout New Zealand.

TelstraClear is deploying an advanced fixed wireless network to bring broadband services to business customers where wireline infrastructure for DSL is unavailable. TelstraClear was awarded the 3.5GHz licenses to operate wireless services throughout New Zealand at the Government auction in July 2002.
