• We at EDX are pleased to introduce our new ACP Module! This innovative tool empowers engineers to automatically plan and optimize their networks using advanced algorithms. Key features include:
  • Optimal Site/Sector Placement: Automatically determines the best locations for sites and sectors.Automated Antenna Parameter Settings: Configures antenna parameters without manual intervention.Automated Cell Soft Parameter Settings: Adjusts cell soft parameters automatically.Live Coverage Contours: Allows user to compare models & locations on the fly
  The ACP utilizes user-defined thresholds, rules, and weightings to determine the optimal settings, aligning with user guidelines while considering cost factors.Currently available under the EAP program, please contact your account manager if you wish to participate.

BUG FIXES / OTHER 

• Towers/Poles Database dialog not saving all entries when you click OK: This has been resolved
• Worst Uplink C/(I+N) Study options under Area Study Details menu do not work: The study options were not being taken into account when running the “Worst Uplink C/(I+N)” study. In addition, there were some issues with this study that have been fixed. NOTE: This update may likely produce new results from the previous release. It was previously named “Maximum Uplink C/(I+N)”.
• Mesh, Automated Router Planning Issue: This has been resolved. There was an issue when running with an extremely large project.
• Pass through clutter tuning error: This has been resolved. An error was caused when the clutter codes did not begin with clutter code 1.
• Multipoint Link Studies from servers to CPEs showing incorrect Antenna Elevation (AMSL) when using Terrain + Clutter: This has been resolved. The PDF output was displaying an incorrect value for the CPE antenna elevation.
• Pass through clutter tunning not including all clutter types: This has been resolved. There was an issue that would not allow tuning for clutter codes that initially started out as 0 Best Fit Loss.
• C/(I+N) Group 1 and Group 2 Study Crashes when interference only is selected: This has been resolved
