Sales Account Manager

 

EDX Wireless is seeking a Sales Account Manager (Inside Sales). This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work from home. 

EDX Wireless has been a global leader and pioneer in wireless network design and planning tool technology for over 30 years. Our software sets the standard for quality and productivity in RF planning, and we’re looking to continue that tradition into the next generation of wireless for 5G, IoT, and Smart Cities.

We are looking for an experienced sales person who will help us continue to grow by managing an existing book of business, farming those accounts for new business opportunities as well as maintaining those relationships to ensure recurring revenue. You will also spend some time cold-calling new potential customers, as well as handle new in-bound leads. Experience in the wireless telecommunication space including 5G, LTE, AMI, LMR, IoT, in-building DAS or other RF technologies is helpful, but we will train truly exceptional candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to learn.  

The Sales Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales and is responsible for upselling current accounts as well as selling to new prospects. You will be interacting daily with end-user engineers, mid-level managers and C-level decision makers, demonstrating our value proposition and effectively demonstrating our software. You will be responsible for handling sales in your geographic territory and earn a base salary + commission on all products sold.

As part of the team, you will work with the other members of sales and marketing to strategize and implement a plan of action that will ensure not only your success but success across the entire organization.  You will also be responsible for performing industry research to help create call sheets that will be used for daily call activity as well as forming relationships with our current account base to ensure customer retention and recurring revenue year over year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Farm current account base for recurring revenue and upsell opportunities.
  • Perform online demonstrations of software to new and prospective customers including both generic/introductory and application specific demonstrations.
  • Work with sales and marketing team to determine targeted customers by industry, persona, region – then work to develop a plan of action for calling on said customers.
  • Effectively communicate value proposition to prospects including end users, mid-level management and C-Level decision makers.
  • Properly qualify sales leads and ask discovery questions that highlight customers goals, processes and current pain points.
  • Generate and develop call lists within target markets via industry research, database scrubbing and other tools on online platforms and industry publications.
  • Work with marketing team to engage prospective customers in targeted campaigns and follow through with data to gauge the effectiveness of campaign.
  • Compile data including: the documentation and tracking of leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and the activities associated with each in corporate CRM.
  • Keep call scripts and email templates that may vary across industries, customer personas and campaigns.
  • Attend and positively contribute to team meetings.
  • Generate reports of call and lead qualifying activity as needed.

Qualifications

  • B2B, inside sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently while still meeting quotas and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills in every conceivable form ie via phone, email, social media etc.
  • Self-disciplined, highly motivated, high energy person who persists through natural ebb and flow of sales.
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to vocalize those ideas.
  • Active listener, engaging conversationalist who knows the right questions + when and how to ask them.

Helpful Skills/Qualifications (but not required)

  • Experience selling into Utilities, Law Enforcement, Government.
  • Experience in software or other technical related sales.
  • Marketing Experience.
  • Familiarity and experience running corporate social media platforms.

Pay: $50-60K + Commission

RF Engineering SMEs

EDX Wireless is seeking experienced RF Engineering subject matter experts (SMEs) to join the new EDX Consultant Development Program and provide EDX Wireless Customers with the following OnDemand services:

  • Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
  • RF System Analysis
  • RF Solution Diagnostics
  • On-the-job training
  • RFP Support

SME responsibilities will include the following:

  • Design studies and analysis
  • Design creation and support
  • Support all phases of project life cycle (as required)

Additional Information:

  • This is a 100% remote opportunity
  • Project management experience (a plus)
  • Needs to be an independent problem solver 
  • Able to provide progress and status updates in an organized and reliable manner

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in RF Engineering field
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency with G-Suite applications and Project Management tools
  • Familiar with legacy analog RF modulations techniques
  • Proficient understanding of trending digital RF modulations techniques
  • Previous experience with EDX Software suite
  • Understands the basic functionality of SignalPro
  • Hands-on experience with 1 or more EDX Software modules (i.e. LTE, Mesh, DAS, etc.)
  • Capable of triaging and answering S&T questions related to use of the software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with EDX Software suite
    • Proficient with SignalPro
    • Extensive hands-on experience with 1 or more EDX Software modules (i.e. LTE, Mesh, DAS, etc.)
    • Experience triaging and answering end-user questions related to use of the software
  • Proven Consulting capabilities:
    • Professional References/Verifiable Testimonials
    • Verified samples of previous contributions to major projects
