NEW FEATURES / ENHANCEMENTS / UPDATES

  • Private Network Planning in Novus; In providing the best solution for our customers we have added a new, easier planning feature set for 5G and LTE in the cloud. This will provide the users a slimline feature set to Plan & Optimize their private networks. The design and coverage can be shared amongst users and customers. This comes with a sophisticated coverage mapping and secure URLS.

  • Study Cloud Access; We have added new feature that allows either;
    • To push their studies to the cloud and return results to their SignalPro
    • To send their studies to the cloud and create a project within Novus and remain in the cloud. This allows our customers the flexibility of utilizing the cloud for any studies or projects they wish and use local for others.

BDC Enhancements; A number of enhancements have been added to the BDC feature set. This includes

  • A new enhanced tool to convert the studies to SHP files
  • WiMAX RSSI to BDC Studies
  • CDMA & UMTS RSSI to BDC Studies

Site Expansion; This is no longer EAP, now available in the release. This feature set includes a map tool tip presenting on the fly information to the user. The user can select the information to be presented on the map layer including the tool tip.

  • This full feature set for Site expansion includes information such as;
    • Name
    • Location
    • Picture
    • Address & Number
    • Generator name
    • Model number
    • Batteries
    • Number of batteries
    • Capacity
    • Date of service 
    • Date of last service
    • AC name
    • Model number
    • Custom Columns ( 10 extra)

BUG FIXES / OTHER 

  • TTA/Multi-coupler Gain; An error was found where some studies were including the TTA gain that should not. This has been corrected and resolved. This change can affect study results.
  • Coverage missing; There was an issue were there was coverage missing from a sector that was part of aa clutter type. We have added exclusion zones to assist with such scenarios.
  • HATA Environment option not being saved in MegaMesh Prop model settings; This has been fixed
  • BDC Cell Edge Coverage Query does not work; This has been resolved
  • Autoplacement error; Found to create duplication of sectors. This has been resolved
  • BNA service area polygon issues; The SHP/BNA file was fixed and how the data is calculated for querying
