NEW FEATURES / ENHANCEMENTS / UPDATES
- Sustainability Feature Set; To provide the industry & our customers with the right solution for all their planning needs, we have brought in a new sustainability feature set. This will assist users in planning a network that will reduce carbon footprint and cost while still providing the best QoS to the end user. This feature will be enhanced in a series of releases. This first release we introduced was the energy consumption of a base station where we see 57% of the overall energy consumed in the RAN. Providing a method to compare against other BS and technology swap outs.
- Sustainability Parameters have been added to the Site spreadsheet editor for ease of project import & export. Allowing users to easily bring in all the parameters for each site
- Private Network Planning in EDX Cloud; In providing the best solution for our customers we have added a new, easier planning feature set for 5G and LTE in the cloud. This will provide the users a slimline feature set to Plan & Optimize their private networks. The design and coverage can be shared amongst users and even customers. This comes with a sophisticated coverage mapping.
BUG FIXES / OTHER
- Clutter Carving of .gcv file not working; It was found the .gcv created by users were not formatting correctly. This has been resolved
- SignalPro Crashing when exporting KMZ; This is now resolved
- Interference contour study issues; Found with extended Hata, this is now resolved
- Crash when Legend displays the Sites info; This is now resolved
- Ring at edge of Study; It was found that when the points along a radial were set to a high number, a ring was seen at the edge of the study analysis, this has been resolved
