New product build – Release 24470

NEW FEATURES / ENHANCEMENTS / UPDATES

  • Usage Logs – To further assist end users in troubleshooting issues, log records have been implemented to track 3 main areas, EDX.INI, Specs and GIS database. This will allow for in depth trouble shooting of the users environment
  • Bing Key TomTom update – Microsoft are updating their Bing Maps to use TomTom. The switch over communicated is to be in July and August
  • EGS Data – New updated EGS 30m data is now ready for use
  • Addition of C/I Ratio Field to the Spreadsheet Editor- A column has been added for the C/I ratio allowing the user to define the ratio for each sector, which would otherwise be filled with the template definitions

BUG FIXES / OTHER 

  • Outdoor to Indoor Study using ESIM model not working correctly – It was found the incidence angle for paths was in radians and was changed to degrees. Allowing for accurate path results
  • Signal User unable to access Cirrus License- Read/write access was not granted to the license directory, which would not allow the application to launch.
  • Running study generated AMOD table error – Commas are now allowed in the file names resolving the issue
  • MLS study layer displayed and MXX file missing causing an error – Found that when the MXX file was deleted the MLS redraw was causing a crash. An warning dialogue will now appear for missing MXX and there is no longer a crash observed

EARLY ACCESS FEATURES (to enable please contact EDX technical support)

  • Database Memory Usage Dialogue – Currently users must manually edit the EDX.INI file for database memory usage, a new GUI has been created to handle the memory usage of the 3 databases, these being;     
    • Terrain
    • Clutter
    • Building
  • Users have the option to use the “Auto” option or still manually define the usage allowed
