- NB-IOT Module: EDX Wireless is happy to announce the release of the new NB-IOT Module. NB-IOT (Narrow band internet of things) is a standards-based Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology developed to enable a wide range of new IoT devices and services. NB-IoT significantly improves the power consumption of user devices, system capacity and spectrum efficiency, especially in deep coverage. Battery life of more than 10 years can be supported for various use cases. Supported by all major mobile equipment, chipset and module manufacturers, NB-IoT can co-exist with 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile networks. It also benefits from all the security and privacy features of mobile networks, such as support for user identity confidentiality, entity authentication, confidentiality, data integrity and mobile equipment identification. The first NB-IoT commercial launches have been completed in 2017/18. [Definition from GSMA, Narrowband – Internet of Things (NB-IoT) ].
- EDX SignalPro introduces a NB-IOT Module that will assist the planning, design and optimization of your NB-IOT network.
The user is able to set up their network in all available NB-IOT bands, SCS, bandwidth and EARFCN

- Multi-Frequency MegaMesh: We have enhanced the Mesh functionality to allow multiple frequencies within the same mesh by adding multiple frequency fields for each meter type. When analyzing the optimal meter-meter / meter-repeater connections, a check will be performed on the bands that each device has access to and the “best” one will be selected.
- Improve propagation in Mesh for short links: This new feature that will use a minimum number of intervals for propagations used in the mesh. Improving the time for analysis and accuracy of the study

- Link study units don’t match what is set under Map>units: This has been resolved
- Use Interference only for C/(I+N) at remote for strongest desired base station produces error: This has been resolved
- Bad KML boundary file forces SignalPro to disappear: This has been resolved

- Code in setup is managing the wrong cache system. This has been resolved
