The recent Log4j vulnerability

by | Dec 21, 2021

With the recently discovered Log4j vulnerability, there have understandably been questions about how this affects EDX products and our customers. We want to assure everyone that our software should not be vulnerable to the recent Log4j vulnerability.

SignalPro: Log4j is a Java based logging utility. The code for SignalPro and it’s associated modules are not written in Java, nor are any of our libraries.

Cirrus Licensing Service: Our licensing service uses Microsoft Azure, which itself is not vulnerable to this flaw.

Auto Updater: SignalPro’s in-app updater is also not written in Java and has no Java-related apps.
